Devlog 4 — Affixes, Animations, Guest Login & More!


Hey everyone!
Here’s another exciting update for IdleGarden. Thanks again for all your feedback — it really helps me shape the game. Let’s dive into what’s new 

New Features

 Armor Affixes

Equipment just got more interesting!
Armors can now roll Affixes, scaled by tier and class, making each piece of gear more unique and powerful.
👉 Unlockable through Picklelogy research.


Gathering Animations

The gathering skills — Mining, Mycology, and Botany — now have their own dedicated animations. Gathering finally feels alive and more fun to watch.

Guest Login

You can now try the game instantly with a Guest account!
And if you’d like to keep your progress, you can easily link your account with Discord or Google later.

Inventory UI Rework

The item description UI in the Inventory has been redesigned for better clarity and readability.

 Combat Feedback

Combat is now more immersive — damage numbers and effects are displayed during battles so you can actually see the impact of your hits.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Picklelogy text showing in the wrong language (now properly in English).

  • Fixed page title display issues.

  • General stability improvements.

 What’s Next

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming soon:

  • Dungeon Page — Players will need to find a key in combat to enter dungeons as a team. Work together to defeat the boss, unlock features, and have a chance to drop unique items.

  • XP Balancing — Gathering and combat currently give XP a bit too quickly. Enemies will become more of a challenge, and gathering will take longer for better pacing.

  • Multiplayer Stability — I’ll be setting up a dedicated server for smoother and more reliable multiplayer.

  • Combat Animations — First animations for Ranged, Melee, and Mage combat are on the way.
